Event Description
ALIA South Coast Walking Tour of the Australian Botanic Garden PlantBank and introduction to the National Herbarium of NSW.
The cost of the tour is $14 per person (cash or card) to be paid on the day.
Please meet at 12:45 pm, for a 1:00pm tour at the PlantBank on Cunningham Drive, located within the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan.
The tour begins at 1pm, come prepared to walk for 1.25 hours.
What to Bring
• comfortable walking shoes
• water
• sun protection and hat
• wet weather gear
The walk will go ahead in all weather except during extreme weather events involving electrical storms, gale force winds and/or torrential rain.
Prior to the tour, you are welcome to join us for morning tea at 11:30am at the Gardens Cafe, where you can spend time meeting ALIA members and friends.
As there are limited public transport options, drive yourself, carpool with a friend, or contact Elaine Glover if you need to catch a ride with another attendee.
