ALIA Blog: eNewsletter Suite Redesigned

We are excited to announce some fresh redesigns for the ALIA eNewsletter suite!

The first of the refreshed ALIA eNewsletters is ALIA News. You may have noticed that the name has been changed from ALIA Weekly as part of this process - this is as we have decided to move the communication from a weekly communication to a fortnightly one whilst still preserving the newsletter's nature as a comprehensive LIS sector roundup.

The other main pillar of the ALIA News redesign is a reorganisation of the visual hierarchy. We have moved the feature article to its own space just below the header and matching its full-page spread. This is to grab the reader's attention immediately and provide a context and theme for the rest of the issue. We have also separated each block of content in order to improve readability and increase the flow of the entire newsletter. CPD Digest, previously PD Postings, is the next enewsletter in the list. The formatting of this communication will stay largely the same as we have received considerable feedback from ALIA Members telling us that they consider its current form to be a valuable asset to them. The most noticeable change is to the enewsletter's header section, for which we have created a new CPD Digest logo and refreshed the layout.

We have also updated the quick navigation area with a bespoke graphic for each header of the newsletter, aiming to reduce friction in the process of reaching the section that is most relevant to you. CPD Digest is an ALIA Membership benefit for personal members of ALIA participating in the CPD Scheme.
